Hybrid teams
One office for a hybrid team.
When half the team is in the office, the people at home miss the conversations that happen there. TinyFloor puts everyone on one floor, wherever they're sitting today.

Why hybrid is hard on the people at home
In a hybrid team, the decisions still happen where most people are. A question asked across a desk, a chat by the coffee machine, a meeting that starts early because everyone's already in the room: the people at home only hear about it later, if at all.
Video calls don't fix that, because the conversations that matter weren't meetings. The fix is a place where everyone is equally present, whichever building they're in.
One floor for everyone
- Everyone joins from their own laptop. In the office or at home, each person opens the same floor, so nobody is a face on a screen in someone else's room.
- See who's around, wherever they are. Available, busy, away, in a call, in the meeting room: the same signals for everyone, so you know who you can ask.
- Walk over instead of messaging. A question to a colleague at home is the same short walk as one to the person at the next desk.
- Meetings in one room. Hold the standup in the meeting room with everyone on their own laptop, instead of a room full of people and a few faces on a screen.
Rules that make it fair
- If one is remote, everyone is remote. When anyone in a meeting is at home, everyone joins from their own laptop, even people sitting in the same room.
- Decisions get written down. Anything decided in the building goes in the team chat, so the people at home see it the same day.
- Headphones in the office. People in the building use headphones on the floor, so their calls don't echo and their neighbours aren't disturbed.
- Office days aren't meeting days. Don't save every meeting for the days people are in. If the meeting room works for everyone, use it every day.
What it costs
TinyFloor is priced per office, not per person, so it doesn't matter how many days people come in.
| Team | Plan | A month |
|---|---|---|
| Up to 3 people | Free, every feature | $0 |
| 4 to 15 people | Pro, every feature | $29 for the whole office |
What it doesn't do
TinyFloor doesn't connect to meeting room hardware, book desks in your building or track who comes in on which day. It's the shared floor for the team's working day; keep your desk booking and room systems for the building.
Common questions.
How does a hybrid team use a virtual office?
Everyone opens the same office from their own laptop, whether they're at home or at a desk in the building, so the people at home can see who's around and talk to them the same way.
Do people in the office need to use it too?
That's what makes it work. If only the people at home are on the floor, it becomes a waiting room. With everyone on it, a question to anyone is one walk away.
Does TinyFloor work with meeting room hardware?
No. There's no integration with conference room systems; people join from their own laptops or phones, ideally with headphones.
How much does it cost?
Free for up to 3 people. Pro is $29 a month for the whole team, up to 15 people, whatever days they're in the office.
