Virtual standup

A virtual standup your team walks into.

No calendar link and no waiting room. At standup time your team walks into the meeting room, says what they're on, and walks back to work.

  • Always the same room

Every office has a main meeting that's always there, so standup is a walk down the hall.

  • See who's missing

The floor shows who's in and who's away, so you know who to wait for.

  • Short by default

When it's done, people walk out of the room and carry on. Follow-ups happen at someone's desk.

Standup in three steps.

  1. 9:58

    Walk in

Join the main meeting and your character walks into the meeting room.

Cameras on or off, with screen sharing for anything worth showing.

  3. 10:10

    Walk out

Walk out of the room to leave. Questions carry on at someone's desk.

Common questions.

How do I run a virtual standup?

Pick a time, meet in the same place every day and keep it short. On TinyFloor the main meeting is always there: people walk in at the time and walk out when it's done.

How many meeting hours does a daily standup use?

A 15-minute standup every working day is about 5 hours a month. Plus includes 30 hours of group meetings a month and Pro 60.

Can we do async standups instead?

Yes. Many teams post updates in a channel and keep the meeting room for the days that need talking.

Do people need their cameras on?

No. Cameras are optional in every meeting, and anyone without one shows as a card that lights up when they talk.
