What does a virtual office cost? What a team of 5, 10 or 15 pays.

Most virtual office software costs $5 to $20 a person a month, so a team of 10 pays between $50 and $200 a month. A few charge for the office instead of the person, and some free plans fit a team of up to 10 with limits on time or meetings. Every price below is from the product's own pricing page, checked on 3 November 2026. We make TinyFloor, one of the ten, so we're not neutral; we've kept to what each page says.

Key takeaways

  • Priced per person, a virtual office costs $4.80 to $20 a month for each member: $48 to $200 a month for a team of 10.
  • Two of the ten price by the office or space instead: TinyFloor at $29 a month for the whole office, and oVice from $65 a month for a small space.
  • Paying yearly saves about 10% to 20% where it's offered. Roam and TinyFloor bill monthly only.
  • Every free plan has a limit that matters: people, hours a day, meeting length, or a public space.
  • Minimums change what a small team pays: Sococo bills at least 10 seats and Kumospace at least 5 members.

How is virtual office software priced?

Almost every virtual office charges in one of four ways, and the way it charges matters more than the headline number once you multiply it by your team.

  • Per person. A price for each member, user or seat, every month. Gather, Kumospace, SoWork, Spot, WorkAdventure and SpatialChat work this way [2][3][4][5][6][7]; what Gather costs goes into its plans in detail. The bill grows with every hire.
  • Per active member. Roam charges $19.50 a month only for members who used it that month, billed monthly with no yearly plan [8].
  • Per office or space. One price for the space, whoever is in it. TinyFloor Pro is $29 a month for the whole office [1]; oVice's Entry-S is $65 a month billed yearly for a space of about 10 regular members [9].
  • Per seat, with a minimum and minutes. Sococo is $13.49 a seat a month, prepaid yearly, for at least 10 seats, with 500 minutes a seat each month and $5 for each extra 1,000 minutes [10].

What does a team of 5, 10 or 15 pay each month?

Billed monthly, before tax. A team of 10 pays from $29 to $200 a month depending on the product, a difference of nearly seven times for a similar set of rooms, calls and chat. For another team size, the virtual office cost calculator works it out from the same prices.

How much does paying yearly save?

Where there's a yearly plan, it saves about 10% to 20%, paid up front. For a team of 10, over a year:

From each product's pricing page on 3 November 2026. A yearly plan is worth it once the team is sure the tool will stay; while you're still deciding, pay monthly.

What do the free plans include?

Six of the ten have a free plan, and each is limited in a different way; the virtual office software comparison covers what else sets them apart. A free plan that fits your whole team beats any paid one; a free plan that cuts every meeting short, or that anyone can walk into, may not.

From each product's pricing page on 3 November 2026. oVice offers a free trial on its paid spaces.

What else changes the bill?

  • Minimums. Sococo bills at least 10 seats, so a team of 5 pays for 10 [10]. Kumospace Business needs at least 5 members [3], and oVice's per-user Business Starter starts at 20 users, $320 a month [9].
  • Hours included. Gather's Essential plan includes recordings starting at 20 hours, and transcription and guest hosting starting at 30 hours [2]. Sococo includes 500 minutes a seat each month [10]. If your team meets a lot, check what happens past the limit.
  • Guests. Gather charges for members, not guests [2], and Roam's guests are free [8]. Kumospace includes 50 guests, who can each be in for up to 4 hours a week [3].
  • Price changes. Roam has published its 2027 price, $20.88 an active member a month [8]. TinyFloor's $29 is a founding price for offices that subscribe before 1 March 2027, kept while they stay subscribed; new subscriptions after that are $39 [1].
  • Recordings and AI. Recordings, transcripts and AI notes are often what separates a cheaper plan from a dearer one: SoWork keeps unlimited recordings and AI summaries for Premium, $12 a member a month yearly [4], and Kumospace keeps recording for Business [3].

Which pricing suits which team?

  • A team that works together every day. Per-person pricing makes every new teammate a new cost, and the research on remote work suggests the teams who get most from a virtual office are the ones in it all day. A price for the office stays the same as the team grows, so it suits a team that wants everyone in, all day.
  • A team whose size changes month to month. Roam's active-member billing means you don't pay for someone who didn't use it that month [8].
  • A team that needs recordings, AI notes or single sign-on. Expect to pay per person on a higher plan: Gather includes recordings and AI notes within its hours [2], SoWork puts them on Premium [4], and single sign-on is usually on custom or enterprise plans, though oVice includes it in its Entry spaces [9].
  • A team trying it for a week. Use a trial before a free plan with limits: Gather and Spot give 30 days [2][5], Roam and Kumospace 14 [8][3], TinyFloor 14 days of Pro for the whole team [1], and SoWork 7 [4]. Most don't need a card.
